There is nothing like home cooking. The many benefits of home cooking include the joy of preparing a special food dish that is nutritious for your family. The satisfaction derived from knowing that you lovingly invested time and effort into the preparation of this home cooked meal, because you care, is priceless.
Another benefit of home cooking is that you know what ingredients were used in the preparation of this meal. There were no additives or preservatives. All the ingredients were natural and provided healthy nutrients to your loved ones. Like home cooking, preparing natural skin care recipes from natural food products offers many advantages. The most important benefits include the cost savings, using of natural products, and the ease of availability.
Cost Savings
One of the significant benefits to utilizing natural skin care recipes are the financial savings. Often products that are available on the market are made from quality ingredients that are designed to provide optimum results when applied to the skin. However, mixed into the cost of production, are various other factors which increase the cost of the product to the consumer. These factors include manufacturing costs, the cost of advertisement, shipment of the products, overhead for the retailer, etc.
When utilizing natural skin care recipes the only cost incurred will be the actual cost of the ingredients that go into recipe.
Use of Natural Products
The benefits of using natural ingredients, as part of a natural skin care recipe, are that these ingredients are untreated and unprocessed. These products use their natural juices to aid in beauty and skin care treatments.
An example of this is a skin exfoliate that can be made from papaya, honey and lemon juice. The mild acidity of the fruit coupled with the honey allows for this mixture to be applied as a mask. After 20 minutes, following the application, the mask is removed resulting in the removal of dead skin, leaving the face feeling clean and the pores free from dirt.
Ease of Availability
Skin care products are as close as the refrigerator or nearest grocery store. For example take the apple; not only is the apple a healthy fruit to eat, but it also helps to tone the face as part of a natural skin care recipe. Apples are generally abundant all year round. By combining a half of cup of apple juice and two small cucumbers, a toner can be created. This natural skin care recipe for toner will help to close the pores to keep out dirt and makeup.

I think we can both admit that we want to look good, and we have both probably been through a lot of cheap skin care products, or even expensive ones, that just do not work.
In this article we’ll go through the advantages and disadvantages of cheap skin care products. They might seem good, because their cost is so cheap, but hear me out on this, and I’ll tell you my experiences with these inexpensive products.
The Cons (Hint: Your Skin Might Age Prematurely)
Having your skin age faster, that doesn’t sound good at all, but it is often true if you go for cheap skin care product.
The reason is this; cheap skin care products are usually filled with low-quality ingredients, otherwise they would cost more.
Many skincare companies are actually doing this on expensive products, so you have to watch out, because sometimes an inexpensive cream can be the same as an expensive one.
If you can find inexpensive products that have excellent ingredients, then you’ve found a treasure, and do let me know if you find one.
The fact is that, in the end, it comes down to the ingredients, and usually you find some very toxic ingredients in these products.
These kind of ingredients can really harm your skin in the long-term, your skin might look better for awhile because of the effect that these chemicals have, but if you use them long enough, you’ll see what I am talking about.
The Pros
I don’t have much to say for the advantages of cheap skin care products, other than the fact that they are cheap.
I would not recommend that anyone buy extremely low priced skincare products, because they will do more harm than good.
The Simple Solution
If you can’t afford a high-quality skincare product, save your money and just go natural. In the long-term your skin will thank you for it.
Spend your money on healthy food such as fruits, and vegetables. Cut out the bad stuff.
Then when you can afford it, go for 100% pure, natural skincare products that are proven to give results with effective ingredients.
Examples of ingredients that are proven are Cynergy TK, Phytessence Wakame, Active Manuka Honey, and Kaolin.

Have you noticed all the anti aging natural skin care products out there? There are so many of them that you really don’t know which one to pick, or why one is better than the other.
At least that was my problem just a short time ago. I have since then learned how to research, and look at all these anti aging natural skin care products from a different perspective.
In this article you’ll learn the 3 guidelines I use to judge these products. These are the guidelines I have used to find the product that I now use daily with very good results.
1. Read the Label
This is the most important anti aging advice that I can give you. Looking at the label is crucial, because that is the only way that you can know if the anti aging natural skin care products that you are about to buy contain any bad ingredients. Even so called natural creams will sometimes contain ingredients that will harm your skin.
2. Analyze the Company
When you find a good product, go online, and find information about it. What do other people say about it? What is the company’s philosophy? How do they manufacture their products? Many companies can use cheap manufacturing methods, but these destroy the nutrients in the ingredients, and beneficial effects are diminished.
3. Look at the Ingredients
Natural skin care companies can sometimes use low-quality ingredients, because their budget doesn’t allow them to make a high-quality product, it is sad but true. In order to avoid this, you have to learn how to look at the quantities of ingredients and how they are used. For example, many companies might say the use Coenzyme Q10, but they aren’t telling you that it is not very absorbable by your skin, another form of it that is called Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10 can penetrate deeply into your skin and work its magic from there, so you have to know what these forms can do.
When I first discovered all this information about anti aging natural skin care products, I have to admit, it was a bit overwhelming, but once you get over that, and realize that you have an opportunity to find a really good product, you become motivated.

It’s human nature to want to get the best possible product for the least amount of money. But, this doesn’t really apply to cheap skin care products.
We can buy a skin moisturizer or cream for as little as $5.00 or spend hundreds of dollars for big name imported brands. However, most people agree that neither are good value for your hard earned dollar.
A low cost skin cream is cheap for a very good reason and that’s lack of good quality ingredients, they usually comprise of only a few substances, and are generally filled with cheap fillers, like petroleum based mineral oil, paraffin, parabens, alcohol and fragrances to make it smell nice and appealing.
Many of these substances are undergoing current evaluation with regard to possible long-term health risks associated with their continual use. I don’t know about you, but I don’t think it’s worth giving these products the benefit of the doubt, so I chose to only use natural substances on my skin.
The other very annoying fact is cheap skin care products have very small amounts of active ingredients. What counts in a skin cream is the amount of active ingredients; they are actually the only things that make the product effective.
Now on the other hand, buying a very expensive skin cream for hundreds of dollars is just as ridiculous. These companies promote their products as being exclusive because they contain very rare exotic plant or animal extracts that are near on impossible to get anymore. Really! What do they take us for?
As the old saying goes “You get what you pay for” holds true in my opinion. Pay too little, and it’s usually worthless ineffective junk and you just waste your money. Pay too much, and you may as well throw your money down the drain.
So, if common sense is to prevail… you need to be realistic and become more astute when evaluating skin care products in the future. Next time you want a skin cream or moisturizer decide firstly whether it’s going to be an all natural or chemical synthetic based product. Be sure to read the label for information on the ingredients and how active they are.
You should be able to pick up a good quality skin care cream for under $50.00 that has plenty of natural emollients, anti-oxidants and nutrients. The most important issue is finding a cream containing the maximum amount of active ingredients possible. These are what make the difference to your skin.
After a lot of research, I found a skin cream that I now regard as the best available on the market at a reasonable competitive price. If your interested to find out more about this natural range of skin creams I now chose to use daily, come and visit my website.
