Micro Needling
Until recently Micro-Needling was very pricey and needed you to visit a specialist; however Microneedling is a normal procedure in most average house holds. The Dermaroller is a hand held device with lots of gama sterilized microscopic needles which, when rolled over the epidermis, gently part the pores of the epidermis and start the healing process increasing the production of collagen and elastin.
Collagen is necessary for skin to heal to a cosmetic level
It is this extra collagen and elastin that makes all the difference, the main cause of the development of skin conditions such as stretch marks and wrinkles is that there is not enough of collagen and elastin in the skin, when this is replaced the skin returns to a firm state. When the skin gets wounded, such as a cut, the skin repairs itself enough to stay healthy; but unfortunately the skin doesn’t recognise that scars are undesirable.
For acne scars, stretch marks and face wrikles to be reduced, the skin needs to believe that there is reason to restart healing producing more collagen and elastin, using a Derma-roller achieves this by opening the pores of the top layer of skin giving the illusion of a trauma on the skin and in need of repair. Repeating the process of Micro Needling will make sure that you skin heals itself to a cosmetic level.
Is Skin Needling the best option?
In compasison to other practices, Skin Needling is much more cost effective and more productive then methods such as just using creams as the skin absorbes only a small percentage of creams applied, however when applied within an hour of using the Derma Roller the creams are absorbed a lot better as the pores are open.
Skin Needling is used to remove a wide range of skin conditions; Stretch marks, Cellulite, Wrinkles, pitted skin, acne scars, surgery scars, scars, crow’s feet etc
